Companion in St. Louis Magazine Cookbook

St. Louis Magazine is publishing its first ever cookbook, St. Louis Chefs’ Recipes. Edited by Christy Marshall and George Mahe, The 168-page book offers 173 exclusive recipes from 81 of the region’s most celebrated chefs. Companion’s own Jodi Allen contributed the recipe for Companion Beef Stew. “Nothing like this has been done recently,” says publisher Leslie Tunney. “This cookbook celebrates the fact that St. Louis’ culinary scene has exploded over the past decade. The book features a wide range of recipes from chefs at the city’s most respected restaurants and some that have been passed down through generations of their families. It’s something we know St. Louisans will treasure.” The book will be available for purchase starting September 26 with 10% of sales going directly to Operation Food Search, a local food bank seeking to tackle the growing problem of hunger.
