Three years ago, we launched the “CollaBREADtive” program to bring bread to the forefront of the dining experience in a fun, creative way. Each year, our Companion team selects eight top St. Louis-area chefs with whom to partner. Together, we create custom breads, which the chefs then use in special menu items that are featured in their restaurants during a designated six-week window throughout the year. Not only are the specially created menu items available at each restaurant, customers can try the recipe out at home. During the restaurants’ six-week feature period, the Companion bread and the chef’s recipe are available for customers to pick up at local grocery stores. Season 3 is well underway!
