20th Anniversary Open House

Celebrate with us at our 20th Anniversary Open House this Saturday! Open House Graphic In celebration of our 20th anniversary, we are hosting an Open House at our factory in South St. Louis (4555 Gustine Ave.) this Saturday, November 9th from 9am-3pm! We’ve been making craft breads and pastries since we pulled our first baguette from our stone oven in late 1993. By focusing on the 4C’s – our companions, our customers, our community and our company – we have built a small bakery with strong reputation for doing things right. Since 1993, we’ve expanded our factory from 1,800 sq. ft. to our current 15,000 sq. ft – an extremely proud accomplishment. At Companion, we place great care in our products and service. We source the best ingredients to prepare unique offerings for our customers. We treasure our St. Louis roots and are a vital member of the neighborhoods and communities we serve. The collective “we” of Companion is what makes it all possible. That’s why we’re excited to celebrate our anniversary with the people that matter most – YOU! Join us for the party on Saturday, November 9th that will benefit the St. Louis Area Foodbank and will highlight all things bread. The day’s festivities will include family entertainment, baking tours, kids’ decorating stations, raffles, lots and lots of bread and pastry samples. Our partners from Schlafly, Urban Chestnut, Civil Life Brewing Company, Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate, and Kaldi’s will also be on hand giving out samples and you won’t want to miss one of the chef’s demonstrations from some of St. Louis’ best culinary talents (full schedule below).
